6-Month Hardware Warranty

Qualifying devices are supplied with a 6-month hardware warranty unless otherwise stated in writing.

This warranty applies to qualifying hardware faults only. Warranty support may include assessment, repair, replacement, swap, credit, or another commercially reasonable remedy depending on the fault, device condition, warranty eligibility, and stock availability.

Dead on Arrival / 48-Hour Priority Swap

Any unit found to be non-functional upon initial collection or delivery must be reported within 48 hours for an immediate priority swap. The unit must be returned in the same cosmetic condition in which it was received.

7-Day Hardware Swap Window

Where a qualifying hardware fault is identified shortly after handover, Kumba Green ICT may assess the unit and, where appropriate, provide a swap or other commercially reasonable remedy. This applies to hardware faults only and is subject to device condition, warranty eligibility, and stock availability.

Software Exception

The 7-day swap and 6-month warranty cover hardware only. Issues relating to Windows updates, driver conflicts, viruses, third-party software installation or user-installed applications are the responsibility of the end-user and are not grounds for a return or swap.

Physical Integrity

All warranties and swap guarantees are immediately void if the unit shows signs of physical impact, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised repair attempts, or tampering. The warranty is also void if the internal "Warranty Void" security seal has been tampered with or removed.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage
  • Physical impact or cracked casings
  • Liquid damage
  • Unauthorised repairs or attempted repairs
  • Tampering or removed security seals
  • Software issues, viruses, malware, driver conflicts, or operating system updates
  • User-installed applications or third-party software
  • Data loss or backup failure
  • Accessories unless expressly included in writing
  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect core device function
  • Battery performance unless expressly covered in writing

Customer Responsibilities

  • Inspect devices promptly on collection or delivery
  • Report non-functional units within 48 hours
  • Keep proof of purchase or order confirmation
  • Avoid unauthorised repairs or tampering
  • Back up all personal or business data
  • Remove sensitive data before returning any device for assessment

Assessment Process

Kumba Green ICT may require inspection of the device before approving a warranty remedy. If a fault falls outside warranty coverage, repair or replacement options may be quoted separately.

Refunds

Refunds are not automatic and depend on the circumstances, applicable law, product condition, warranty eligibility, and whether a repair, replacement, swap, or other remedy is commercially reasonable.
